Workshop Safety
Policy

Your safety is very important to us. Please read these safety rules carefully before attending your workshop.

By booking or attending a workshop at our studio, you agree to follow all safety instructions given by our staff.

Eligibility and Attendance

For safety reasons, all guests must be at least 12 years old. Guests under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. This workshop is not suitable for pregnant guests. Assistance dogs may be accepted, please contact us before booking.

General Safety Rules

  • Wear safety goggles or appropriate eye protection as instructed.
  • Tie back long hair and avoid loose clothing or dangling jewellery.
  • Wear closed-toe shoes and long trousers; natural fibres are recommended.
  • No headphones, food, or drinks at the workstation.
  • Drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
  • If you smell gas, inform staff immediately.
  • Follow instructor guidance and report unsafe behaviour.

Hot Glass and Torch Safety

Some workshops involve hot glass, tools, open flames, and heated equipment. Glass and tools may remain extremely hot even after they no longer appear red. Do not touch hot glass by hand; use tools provided and never adjust the torch yourself.

What to Wear

  • Natural fibre clothing (cotton, linen, wool) recommended; avoid synthetics.
  • Layers are advised as studio temperature may vary.
  • Closed-toe shoes and long trousers are required.
  • Bring prescription glasses if needed; long hair must be tied back.

Important Notice

The studio reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest who does not meet safety requirements. Refunds or rescheduling may not be provided in such cases. All staff safety decisions are final and intended to protect guests and staff.
